歐洲炙手可熱的爵士手風琴家
出生於義大利西西里島的音樂家族。
10歲在祖父Giovanni Catanese的指導下學習手風琴;12歲時加入享負盛名的傳統西西里樂隊Terrazzani di Trabia,成員包括30名舞者和10名音樂家,在歐洲各地巡迴演出。
2007年,加入巴勒莫的Brass Group爵士學校,在大師Giuseppe Vasapolli的指導下學習鋼琴和爵士即興演奏。
2011年,加入D Quartet Group樂團,並錄製第一張專輯“Ossessa”,該專輯在同年Pippo Ardini爵士大賽中獲得冠軍。

Roberto Gervasi Born in Mussomeli on June 14, 1990, Roberto Gervasi is a jazz accordionist who grew up in a musical family for generations. He started studying accordion at the age of 10 under the guidance of Giovanni Catanese, his grandfather.
Later he will study piano, harmony, and music theory with his brother Vincenzo Gervasi, conductor, saxophone player and composer.
At the age of 12 he joined the “Terrazzani di Trabia”,
a traditional Sicilian group composed of 30 dancers and 10 musicians, with whom he performed in many ethno-popular festival all over Europe.
In 2007 he joined the Brass Group jazz school in Palermo, where he studied piano and jazz improvisation under the guidance of maestro Giuseppe Vasapolli.
In February 2011, He joined the “D quartet group”, and he recorded his first album named “Ossessa”.
The Album will receive numerous acclaim both from the audience and the critics press, in 2011 with the same group he won the Absolute First Prize in the "Pippo Ardini Jazz music competition”.
In 2012 he moved to France to study the traditions of the manouche culture, and especially the music of Django Reinhardt.
